Description
Organism investigates how individual forms interact
to create a unified whole. Like parts of a living organism,
each element depends on the other – structure supports light,
while light gives the object its presence. The result is a
sculptural lamp that blurs the boundary between utility and
living form.
The prototype was developed during a ceramic
internship in France and is made from partially biodegradable
faience using plaster moulds combined with traditional
hand-finishing techniques. The natural matte surface enhances
the subtle texture of the material, emphasizing its tactile
quality
